Meet the Doctors

Dr. Steven Ludford

Dr. Steven Ludford is a 1983 graduate from Creighton University Dental School, Omaha Nebraska. Dr. Ludford was born and raised in the Illinois Valley and he attended St. Bede Academy. He built a state of the art office building in 1993 and is currently practicing at this location.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Chicago Dental Society, and the local Illinois Valley Dental Society. He is also a graduate from the Pankey Institute in Florida, where they teach advanced classes in the dental field. Dr. Ludford attends dental conventions yearly to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment available to provide the most current care.

His practice is devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile, using conservative, state of the art procedures that will give you a long lasting smile.

Dr. Jacob Postula

Dr. Jacob E Postula, born and raised in the Illinois Valley, joined Dr. Steven Ludford as an associate dentist in providing comprehensive general dentistry in June 2022. As Dr. Ludford, Jacob was a graduate of St. Bede Academy, continuing on to graduate from Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. Jacob then went on to pursue a doctoral degree in dental surgery at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI.

Dr. Postula offers the latest, most effective treatment options and similar scope of procedures as Dr. Ludford currently provides. Recently trained in digital workflow environments, Jacob plans to implement techniques that shorten appointment time and maximize patient comfort while providing care.

Dr. Postula is a current member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society and local Illinois Valley Dental Society.
